The tsunami

It was that time again… Our annual surfing trip to Devon. While my parents packed up the suitcases and loaded up the car for the long journey ahead, we chatted excitedly about what an incredible holiday this was going to be!

Not too long into the journey, the beautifully clear, blue sky became dark and ominous. All of a sudden, crashing towards the long line of traffic, was a colossal wave – not the kind you’d want to catch on a board either…

Desperately, people raced wildly out of their cars, running, screaming and panicking yet as I looked to my left, I saw a man… he had dark brown skin, a tall trighten with a bright light on the end it shon like a white sun up close, also he had a crown. I think he’s the god of the sea.

He was doing a little dance that went with a song. I told my mum to stop the car , I went up to the man he stopped doing the dance, he brang out a knife… I screamed.

Oriental pearl tower

Intro

The Oriental Pearl tower is located in Shanghai,China by the Pudong River.

It is a great tourist attraction. It is a communication tower too. It was the first tallest building in china.

Purpose

The purpose of the Pearl Tower was for the chinese to get their radio and TV. 

The purpose was also to have some art exhibitions,restaurants,museums and a look out.

Building and materials

The Oriental Pearl Tower is made out of glass, iron, wood,metal and tiles.

The construction of the Pearl Tower started in 1991 and then was completed in 1994.

It is 468 meters tall.

Fun Facts

Did you know that the Oriental Pearl Tower Was the first tallest tower ever to be built in china. The Pearl tower weighs a total ton of 120,000 tons, That’s very heavy!

The Pearl Tower is only 19 stories tall, even though it looks like it has more stories than what you see.

Worst day to great day By Jesica

A long time ago actually last Friday Kelly was ready to start a normal boring day at school. But today the sky looked a bit creepy but Kelly just ignored it. When she stepped foot in school she knew it was going to be a long day. Her teacher was at her desk as usual. Ms Chalk was the meanest teacher in school. 

The bell went and Jess sat at her desk Ms Chalk said that it was time for Math. Kelly’s day was getting worse. Ms Chalk was writing something on the board…POP QUIZ ! Great Kelly had already got several bad grades in math and now she was going to get another. Surprisingly she got an A+.

It was lunch time some boys were bugging Kelly so she threw some food at them next thing she knew she was in the detention room. When she got home her mum said that they were going to California for 3 months so she didn't have to go to school this was Kelly's worst day turned into her best day.                                                  THE END

What you will need 

Diet coke 

Gray tape 

A cardboard tube with gary tape around it

Toothpick 

Mentos hot 1’s

Warning you can get sprayed  with the diet coke   

What it is:  metos in a bottle 

How to do it 

Get the diet coke 

Tape the cardboard tube to the diet coke bottle 

Next poke the toothpick through the bottom of the cardboard tube 

Put about 12 mentos through the tube 

Pull the mentos out of the tube 

Then stand back because it can get messy

Goal: to make a tornado in a bottle!

You will need:

A bottle

Fresh water

Glitter

Dish washing liquid

Method:

First fill the bottle halfway to the top with water.

Then put  a few drops of dishwashing liquid in the bottle.

Add some of your choice colored glitter.

The put the bottle top on. 

Then shake and swirl.

After you have swirled for a bit stop swirling.

Then you can see the colorful tornado!

Dear mama,

I love you because you gave birth to me and being there whenever I'm hurt. Thank you for the best memories and the best times. You have the biggest heart and you make the best fried rice. I can always rely on you and I trust you as much as I love you. I love the way you spend as much time with me as you can , even when you are busy all over the place. I also love the way you believe in me and you encourage me when I'm at a sports game or to anything. You are always in a happy mood and is enthusiastic. You are always willing to try new things and you help others even when you don't know them. You give the best and warmest cuddles. Maui and the fish

One sunny hot day maui sailed out in his in his waka to find fish for the second time. He paddled day and night when he reached his destination he stopped took a deep breath and flung his hook far away it slowly dropped.

While he waited he read the latest newspaper then he started to doze off. Then the line started unraveling he woke up he griped onto the line and started to pull up the line

Then his boat came on top of something big it was black it was massive it was a stingray then he realised he hooked up the north island!!!!!!!

Now John Phillip key have you seen kids,obviously not because most kids have sports on Saturday mornings or going to church or have valuable family time and if you make school on Saturdays that means we have on day to embrace being a kid 

And you obviously haven't heard of the weekends it's got a s on it for a reason because there is suppose to be two days

Dear Ministry of  Education WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!!!
I think this is a dumb and idiotic idea because there are people good people out there who don't what this here is why……….

Firstly:
The children and parents. The children don't want this because they have sports the their mums and dads payed good money for and you are taking that away from happy children. And the families need family time and need to have at least two days to relax.

Secondly:
The principals, teachers and caretakers even that you are giving them more money and holidays they still need time in the week to get away from school and to have a nice week not having to be gumpy.

Thirdly:
Sports coaches have to change their days because of you, now because of school their time on Sunday's are too full to relax for one minute.

Also:
People who go to church have to change their activities all on Sunday so they can go to school and learn because you told them to.

Lastly:
No one will be happy with what you have done to all the primary schools.

Maui and the North Island - Jessica

A long time ago there was a warrior called Maui. Maui was very tall and very brave. He has tattoos from all the beasts that he had fort over the years. But all of the sudden people started to get sick and hungry in Maui’s village so he decided to go and fish for some wonderful kia.

Maui set out to sea he paddled for many days,and days finally he found a good place the fish. He took out his hook made from whale bone and flung the hook into the sea. He waited and waited. He started reading the daily newspaper then he took a nap. 

An hour went by Maui herd his rope slipping he jumped up,hulled on the rope with all his might and finally his feast had topped resisting and came to the surface. Maui froze when he saw what he had brung up. It was a ginormous stingray but the minute it hit the surface it became land.

And that is how the North Island came to be.

How The Narwhal Got His Fin


Once upon a time on a hot day in Hawaii there was a Narwhal called Gizzy. Gizzy was very normal, he walked around and ate pineapples but he could not swim.

One sunny afternoon a huge blue whale was trying to get beached. “Gizzy I am going to help you swim!”. “What?” said Gizzy “how do you know my name.” “Don’t think about that, my name is Kevin. I am going to help you swim.” Gizzy was feeling so weird about Kevin, he has never thought  of swimming in the ocean. He liked walking and making friends with the coconuts.

“Ok?” said Gizzy “GREAT” yelled Kevin “ we will start now. Go over to that little bay, your first lesson will be there.” ………..Five minutes later……….. Gizzy and Kevin were both at the little bay, Kevin said “ ok this is what you have to do.” “Kick around this little bay and your back fin will come out.” “I have a back fin” said Gizzy not knowing what to do. “ Yes you will lose you legs and and have a beautiful back fin” said Kevin feeling very happy, “ok?” said Gizzy some sounding very scared.

Gizzy kick around the little bay, his legs were getting smaller and smaller. “Ok your lesson is over, go home and meet me at 9:30am at the ocean’s edge you are going to get your back fin”
said Kevin. So Gizzy went home and got some sleep. The next day Gizzy went to the ocean’s edge, Kevin was wating for him, but spence Gizzy’s leg were smaller it was harder to walk.
Final he got there. “Jump in and swim around and don't come back to the island”. So Hizzy swam and losted his legs and never come back to Haiwii.

So that is how the Nalwhal got there back fin.

The fish of
Maui

One hot day Maui was paddling away from his beloved island, on a big, long, wooden waka.
For days and days, nights and nights until one day Maui stopped paddling, he stopped everything and he took a deep breath.


As he took a big breath the sun was gleeming down on him, all his thoughts were bubbling around Maui’s mind his was sleepy.
Maui reached into his grass skirt and got out his fishing hook.

He throw that hook as hard as he could making it go so far away. Deeper and deeper the hook went the longing it took.
Maui wanted for hours, he got out a newspaper and had a read of it. Then he had a nap, then a HUGE black fish got the hook it was a sting ray.

The North island, living plants,” was it a magical land yes” he paddled back home to tell his loved ones about this island that came to be.

The beast have never awaken from the day forward.

The ladie was raning to the musem and it fall out of her handbag then a man found it on the ground he picked it up and went to china with it then india in india there was a musem he put it in a bulletproff file that night the four famouse robbers came to that musem that the samwitch was in the samitch case was glowing the robbers sterd at it the capiton scally pocket “that samwitch will make us famouse we have to still it the sun is nelly out “ “come on” he siad they got it out of its case and ran into the sun rise the next day they went to fracego then brizel luck had it capiton scally pockets girlfriend was a fashion model and tommorow was a fashion show they got her a samwith dress and got a samwith handbag 

The next day came and they were in the dresser they got her dressed and she holded the samwitch capiton scally pocket gave her a good luck samwitch neeklis she went out everyone claped when they sore the samwitch when she got to the end her samwith hihels went sidways and she fall off the stage the people thought that she was doing a drmatic stage dive so the court her yeah your so good girl and the samwicth droped out of her hand a man picked it up the next day he went to terkey bikok he ran to his house and got pippers and siad”this is a good launch he to a bit of the old moldey samwtch he died and his larst words were “that as width was very yum then his wife came home OMG died man in the house she sore the bite in the OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH this girl was the one who Bourt her husband to terkey babubaubaubau yelled the terkey the girl went to Italy the next day she was acterly a a crime sapeced and in Italy lived the King browse wag totem  he had a crasty berd and it is white and his mastash is black . she went to the vassal and he ate a samitch and died and his last words were no saterday school!!!!!!!!!!! Why we shouldn't have school on Saturday

 First of all I think school on Saturdays is a very very dumb idea NO KIDS IN NZ WOULD WANT MORE SCHOOL👿👿👿 And what about sports on Saturday what happens then we can't put the spot on Sunday because that's our only free day. Instead school on Saturday we could start school at 8:00am every day not on Saturday.

What's the point of have another day when have a good amount of time anyway. School on Saturday is just stupid idea. On Saturday kids have sports like soccer,cricket and rugby and then they will have to leave at like 10:00 o'clock for sport. Secondly we like to have weekends to play and have friend over and go places and go away on Holiday. Thirdly we will get no time it is so stupid how you menin it. It is such a terrible Idea to have school on Saturday to much time at school and not enough weekend. Who ever thought of this idea is so dumb and no one wants it to be like what you thought of everyone i know what's it the same.

One day on the 1st of April 400 kids at Clevedon school were chatting about their sleepover they were gonna have on Saturday and others were talking about Netball grading and there rugby game but that all got cancelled when we were told that school was on Saturday!

Hello my name is Nina king and I am 9 years old, today I am here to state a complaint on why school should not be on Saturday. This complaint is on behalf of me and all of the primary schools in New Zealand.

So school has to be on a Saturday you say, well I don’t like that idea and neither does the rest of clevedon school we all think that school should either be half an hour later or half an hour earlier, we would even try our hardest to learn, take out sport add in math, take out art add in reading, take out brain break add in writing.

We all have our sport in the morning of Saturday and that might mean we will have to quit that Saturday sport and join a Sunday sport. We don’t want our Sundays to be jam packed with homework sport sleep and no friends coming over. And we also want some time to chill.

The Fish of Maui

Long, long ago on a boiling hot summer day Maui went on a long journey. Maui stroked and stroked and stroked day and night getting further and further into deep blue sea, getting more tired by the minute. 

Maui took a deep breath. He grabbed his hook and was getting ready to strongly throw his hook far into to the deep dark blue sea, it goes deeper and deeper into the sea. Maui waits tiredly, Suddenly Maui fell asleep not realizing that some humongous fish grabbed his hook. Maui woke up with surprise and quickly realized what was happening, he picked up and pulled with all his might like his life depended on it he pulled and pulled and pulled until suddenly something black appeared out of the sea. 

Maui was concerned and confused until he saw what it was, it was the biggest sting-ray ever! It surrounded Maui, he didn’t know what was happening. It was huge, but this was no sting ray it was the North Island!

And that is how the North Island came to be.

Iron man 

Iron man was a great big metal machine. He went around people's farms eating all the machinery on their farms. The people realised that all their machinery was gone and they had had enough! They set a trap for Iron man. The men and women dug a deep hole in the ground and covered it up with branches and sticks. Then they put a truck on the branches and sticks. When iron man comes he will see the truck and go to get the truck and he will fall into the hole. Iron man doesn't fall into the hole. He reaches over the hole and grabs the truck and eats it right away.

The people called the army. The army got all the best men and women and missiles. The people did not know Iron man's powers and his powers are regeneration. So if he gets blown up all of his parts will come back to him. The people think Iron man is a bad alien but he is not bad. Iron man just wants to live a peaceful life.

Iron man comes from the planet of Ferrous. The planet is completely made of Iron and there is always plenty to eat and there are lava lakes. Iron man went to earth to find more iron even though they have enough iron already. Why would they need more Iron? Maybe they need iron for homes or they need iron to make more iron men and women and children? (Find out in iron man 2)

Long ago in the black and white days there were flamingos but the flamingos didn't stand on one legs the stod of both of there legs then one day little Bertram was born and he found it really annoying because one leg was longer than the other he tried the everything and after and few different ideas he thought to stand on one leg and it worked there was no pain after he want back to is family he told them why he was standing on leg his siblings strayed laughing but his parents Bobby and poppy said it was a good idea and then from that day on flamingos stood on one leg !!!!!!!!

Reasons why i don't what to change the flag

I don't what to change the flag because the people fort in war for that flag, also i like that design.although australian flag is quite similar it's still a big difference to me. australia are changing  their flag to so we don't need to.it's a waste of money to because we should spend it on malonea because it is getting worse.just because 53 commonwealth changed their flag doesn't mean we should change it two.if we  change our flag we might not be special anymore.

Professional

When I am older I want to be a professional football player like Messi and Ronaldo. Every day I wish for it. I like playing because I play every day. I normally play with my neighbor Flynn. He's only five but he is still really good. We like to play penalty shootout. Lots of my other friends like playing football. 

My other favourite sport is cricket. I love batting. I have to wear lots of protective gear. I normally like to hit them big. I think the black caps are the best. My friend Jordan mills had an uncle in the team called Kyle mills. Once I got player of the year.

Why we should not change the flag

Here I am standing in front of you telling you why we should not change the flag.

Why change the flag, so you say it looks to much like the Australian flag and that mean we have to change it. I think that all of this is just a joke. Well here are some reasons why.

1.John key has wasted more than 26 million bucks just for permission and if that was just for permission guess how much money it would be for the flag, plus they have to go through all the votes and what if it's a tie, chose the old one.

2.Why doesn't John key care about the ill children in hospital and why doesn't he care about cancer, melanoma and shingles, all the sicknesses that he doesn't have. Why?

3. Does John key just want to be known for something?. why does he think he's got a better thought the rest of us, yes we know he is prime-minister of New Zealand but that doesn't mean anything, It doesn't mean that he is better than us.

4. This current flag has been made before is was born probably before anyone in this room was born, probably before John key was born. So what was wrong with it?

5.What was wrong with the flag. Did Australia say we couldn't have it, No. So what was the point of changing it. It was John keys idea.

6. So the main point was that we changed the flag just because it look like the Australian one and guess what, Australia is now changing their own flag so can't we forget all about this and go back to the United Jack.

7.Some soldiers had their life on this flag and I think if they were still here they wouldn't want to Change it, like some of us here in NZ.

I think we should keep the flag because it's a waste of money.instead they should give it to charity's and poor people. Sir Edmund Hillary put this flag on Mt Everest and if we change it that flag will still be up there but it won't represent NZ. All of the soldiers thought in the war with that same flag which is very special and important. It has also been held up a lot in the olympics. Also Australia going to change their flag. And if we have the Union Jack that means we are part of the British treaty.

I think we should keep the flag because we have grown up with it and we feel contented with it and the flag hasn't changed since 1902 so that shows we are a country who is proud of their flag and wants to keep it as long as they can. We should also keep it because it represents the country that our soldiers fort and died for. I think we should also keep it because it would waste a lot of money which could be spent on different things like on houses for poor people or better learning facilities for kids at school. The little goldfish- free writing

Long ago there was a little goldfish named Bertram, he was a free goldfish because he lived in the ocean. Bertram was 3 years old in human years and 56 in goldfish. He had a orange body and a white tail with a pink face. 

One day Bertram went on a adventure to find some friends because he was very lonely , on the way he spotted a humongous castle but Bertram made the wrong decision to go inside...

Inside the castle there were several cobwebs with about 6 spiders on them. He entered another room and there was a massive tank full of little big sharks. The sharks saw Bertram and pushed as hard as they could to break the tank to get to Bertram and it worked. Bertram swam as fast as he could but the Sharks were too fast and he got eaten, but the good thing is that after a while he came out as seaweed at the bottom of the ocean. 

Bertram felt very good actually because there were lots of sea animals and if they were small animals they could hide in or behind Bertram. He could also live forever if the killer whale doesn't come around because they eat seaweed but of they are really hungry they eat anything in their sight.

Zoe's Myth-Hexthe flying book

Hex is a book. He is not just an ordinary book he is a flying book oh and he also talks too.

One day he found a book in Lucy's cupboard and he liked the look of the book. So he opened it and started to read it. He wondered why it had words in the pages and why he did not have words in his blank pages. 

He read and read for hours on end. Then Lucy came home and shouted ’’ Hex I am home ‘’ she said. Immediately he shut the book raced down stairs and asked Lucy a question ‘’Why do other books have words in their pages and I don’t’’ Hex said. Lucy replied and said ‘’let's not talk about it okay’’ said Lucy. ‘’okay’’ replied Hex. 

That night Hex went back to the cupboard and the other book that he read before said ‘’why did you read me last night’’ she said. Well that is because I wonder why Lucy does not wright in me and why you have words on your pages’’ Hex said. ’’ The reason that is is because you can fly and talk and I only talk by words in my book’’ said the other book. ‘’Okay talk to you tomorrow’’ Hex sied

The next morning hex got a pen and got to work. Then after he write a page or 2 Lucy found him and said’’ what are you doing I am supposed to write in your pages not you’’ she shouted ‘’well I was just wondering when does the shopping come’’ Hex replied

‘’ Stop changing the subjects Hex you know that is not allowed and I did not order any shopping anyways’’ Lucy said

‘’Then can you please write in me because I want a to life a normal life’’ Hex replied

‘’Fine I will but you promise me you will not do this ever again.’’ Lucy said.

‘’Okay.’’ Hex said.

So that is how books came to life and that Hex learned a lesson.

How the tiger got its stripes

Once upon a time many years back when thing were different to what they are now. Like the tiger was pink, the ants were giant and the animals could talk and  there was a big party that made all of this happen.

One night miss and mr lion invited all of the jungle animals to their BIG party even miss and mr tiger went but they were the ones that wanted to have the best outfit so they had a nice long bath in the clearest, sparklest water in the jungle. Then they had to chose what to where.

So miss and mr tiger set to work trying on different colors of paint like mr tiger tried to paint half of his body red and the other half blue but he didn't like that so then miss tiger tried to paint dots all over her but she didn't like that so then they sat down and had a LONG think.

Finally mr tiger came up with a idea that they would paint themselves orange with black strips. Miss tiger loved the idea so much that they got to work shate away. First mr tiger painted miss tiger orange and well that was drying miss tiger painted mr tiger orange. Then they painted the stripes on. They thought they loved it so much that they kept themselves hidden so it would shine out at the party.

Finally the party came. They got to show their outfits of to the other animals! When they got there it was already very crowded but as soon as they walked in the gates everyone stopped talking and stared at them. Then mr and miss tiger got crowded with people asking questions like how did you do that and WOW can I copy you!

Finally when the party was over they went to sleep. The next day they woke up to see all the other tigers painted as they were so they thought that all the other tigers must of liked it so much that they copped it. After a few days after every tiger in the world was like that but there was one slight problem they had had the paint on so long that it had soaked into there hair and thehy could not get it of. So that is how the tiger got its stripes. THE END

I have three persuasive reasons why we should keep our flag and they are…the soldiers went to war with the flag , the treaty of Waitangi will be broken and lastly John Key is wasting a lot of money. Australia is going to change their flag anyway. If we change the flag it will break our history. 

Firstly, the soldiers took our flag to war because they wanted to represent our country and flag, and they fought for New Zealand. The current flag is shown up at all RSA’s to show that the flag went to war and the soldiers still believe in our flag. If we change the flag all the books and photos of the current flag with be taken down and there will probably be no pictures because they are all based on our CURRENT FLAG!

Secondly, the treaty of Waitangi will be broken to bits and ripped up. The people that signed the flag will be heartbroken and we will have to get them back again and sign the treaty. But the people that signed it might of passed away and there will be no Waitangi Day or treaty of Waitangi to look at again. The Bay of Island will be very empty and there will be no point to go there. That's why we should keep our CURRENT FLAG!

Lastly, John Key the prime minister is wasting loads of money and he could be spending it on better things like charities, education or hospitals and medicine to keep people alive if they have diseases or anything bad. One question, does John Key want to be known for something? Does he want to be known for something that will make him famous? People have melanoma and they need help really FAST. I think John Key is really silly to change the flag.

John Key is making a wrong decision but that is my opinion. He has been on TV and everything but it's too late to stop him anyway. I really hope nearly everyone wants to keep the current flag NOT the new one. I hope to see John Key and tell him my thoughts and this story. Kate is a 8 year old student at Clevedon School. She was born at Middlemore Hospital in New Zealand, on the 4 June 2007 at 6:35pm. 

Family

Kate lives in a two storied house in Clevedon, Auckland, New Zealand. She lives in the household with 4 other family members, her mum Joanne, her dad Matthew and her two sisters Charlie and Millie. Kate is the middle child, Millie is the oldest and Charlie is the youngest. Kate has 18 pets, and they are horses, cows, goats, dogs, cats and sheep with some lambs. Their names are Lulu, Rexy, Rupert, Pippi, Moose, Molly, Henry, Peaches, Querf, Diffy, Mimsy, Kevin, Fred, Milo, Freckle, Minty and Gina. 

Schooling

When Kate was 1 year old she attended Clevedon Kids pre-school, when Kate turned  3 she left the pre-school and started  a new adventure at Clevedon  Pukekos. Kate enjoyed Clevedon Pukekos and made lots of new friends. At the age of 4 Kate sadly had to leave and started Clevedon School. Kate has fitted into Clevedon School since she first started and she is loving it. Kate is still at Clevedon school and is in room 4 with Miss Baker.

Likes, dislikes and hobbies/sport

Kate Tuck loves lasagna, sushi, cats, dogs but the two most things she likes is to be herself and being special. Kate also likes to cook cupcakes, chocolate cake and double layered cakes. Cute things are Kates favourite, she loves anything cute such as  cats, dogs, pukekos and all types of animals. Her main two sports are horse riding and hockey. Her hockey team is called Clevedon Rose and she is looking forward to the games. The things that Kate hate the most are boys and avocado, but the thing she doesn't like to do the most is HOMEWORK. 

Interesting facts

Kate Tuck is known for the most injuries but the one that she wanted to tell us the most was when she broke her right arm TWICE. Kate was in a lot of pain but she was resilient and tugged it out. The thing that Kate loves to do is to go on adventures on her farm or around the house. Kate finds a lot of interesting things and takes lots of pictures of them. Kate is an outdoor girl and is not afraid of any injuries.

The Story of My Life

My name is Brooke and I'm 10 years old. I lived Clevedon in New Zealand. I was born in Middlemore Hospital at 7:28pm on the 23rd December 2005. My daddy chose my name for me.

In my family I have my mum Jeb, my dad Warwick, my sister Meam and my brother Jarrod. My my is 39 and my dad is 49. My sister is 22 and my brother is 15. Well all live in Clevedon. I also have a cat called Lucky she is one year old and is a tortishell. I had a Doberman x Rottweiler called Tiny and she was 15 years old in doggy age. I now have two Saint Bernards called Whisky and Tequila.

I went to Clevedon kids kindergarten then I went to Get Set 4 School which is a pre-school. A few years after I attended Clevedon School. At Clevedon School I'm in a year 6 and I'm in room 4 with Miss Baker. My hobbies are hanging out my friends in the weekend or in the holidays. I also like to play soccer but I'm still learning and I enjoy swimming. But my favourite hobbie is to write made up stories.

I have 3 very important like events that happened. My first one is when I put my dog down in 2013 or 2014, it was a very sad moment because my mum told me when she picked me up from school. The first day of school was also my important event. I was so excited but when I got there I was scared. My last event was when I first travelled overseas and I went to Thailand, that where my mum's from. I was nearly 1 I think, and I loved it. Every year I now go to Thailand, it brings back very good and old memories.

Now you know about myself, Brooke. That was the story of my life. I will not be around forever but I hope to meet the people that read this story someday.

Once a upon a time in donut city somewhere in the middle there was a Zoo and in that zoo there was many different animal but one stood out more than any other that one was Jerry, Jerry the giraffe Jerry had a sense of humor actually a big sense of humor anybody would say anything and you know it Jerry would laugh not just laugh his head of one day a little 4 year old went to the zoo and saw Jerry the laughing giraffe his name was Timmy. Timmy said something very very very very very very funny and Jerry the giraffe stood there just stood there Jerry the giraffe didn't laugh mr.green the zoo keeper thourght Jerry diden’t hear it so mr. Green told Timmy to say it again so that is exactly what's timmy did he said it and Jerry the giraffe still didn't laugh so the next day mr green took Jerry the Giraffe to the hospital for a check up brooke the doctor said there was nothing wrong with Jerry so mr.green toke Jerry back to the zoo from that day on jerry never laughed a month later mr.green was not happy that Jerry wasn't laughing so mr.green sat in Jerry cage with him and said why aren't you laughing is there something wrong Jerry said yes I just found out I have a brother mr green felt bad for Jerry so mr. Green said fine DONE!!!!!!!!! We are going on a hunt to find him so the next day Jerry and mr.green snuck out of the zoo really early and!!!!!!! To be continued

Story of my life

My name is Jessica. I am 10 years old. I was born on the 2nd of December 2005 9:10. I was 2 weeks late. I was born in England in a town called Salisbury.

My family are Mum Dawn,Dad Gary, Brother Tom, Sister Katy. Tom lives here and is 21 Katy lives in England and is 19. I have a dog called Smoke a horse called Charlie Brown ( he was born on the same day as me ) 5 chickens,8 fish, 6 sheep and 6 calves.

During my edication I went to Bourne valley nursery, Gomeldon primary and Clevedon primary.

I have had a coulple of extreme life events. When I was 4 I dislocated my elbow on my dads car hanging from the roof racks.. Also when I was 4 I got concussion because I banged my head on concrete when I slipped on a ball and fell backwards I went blind for a few hours. And on my forth day of school here I broke my wrist one the monkey bars. I was 8 years old when we moved here it was very sad and I knew barely anyone here.

The Sizzling Fly

There was a fly that was really annoying and everybody hated him in Clevedon. Everyone tried to hit him with a fly swat when he came over or tried to trap him but he was too smart. In Clevedon there was a new family that moved and in their old house it was full of flies, so they were use to flies but this one totally different and the new people wanted to move but there was not any house for sale. One day the new family had a plan to try and catch the fly, they were going to throw a barbecue for everyone that lived in Clevedon and try to sizzle the fly. They BBQ was held at their house, 3pm-7pm on Friday. Everyone thought that idea was great but the fly heard and didn’t end up coming. The family was furious because they spent heaps of money!!!! The next night the family was having leftovers from the BBQ and the fly turned up, the fly went to go and have a bite of the sausage but it was so hot and he touched the pan. BINGO, the family caught the fly!!! Everyone in Clevedon was so glad that the family didn’t move again. Everything went back to normal after that day and they all lived happily ever after...UNTIL… TO BE CONTINUED.

Story

Iron man 

Iron man was a great big metal machine. He went around people's farms eating all the machinery on their farms. The people realised that all their machinery was gone and they had had enough! They set a trap for Iron man. The men and women dug a deep hole in the ground and covered it up with branches and sticks. Then they put a truck on the branches and sticks. When iron man comes he will see the truck and go to get the truck and he will fall into the hole. Iron man doesn't fall into the hole. He reaches over the hole and grabs the truck and eats it right away.

The people called the army. The army got all the best men and women and missiles. The people did not know Iron man's powers and his powers are regeneration. So if he gets blown up all of his parts will come back to him. The people think Iron man is a bad alien but he is not bad. Iron man just wants to live a peaceful life.

Iron man comes from the planet of Ferrous. The planet is completely made of Iron and there is always plenty to eat and there are lava lakes. Iron man went to earth to find more iron even though they have enough iron already. Why would they need more Iron? Maybe they need iron for homes or they need iron to make more iron men and women and children? (Find out in iron man 2)

Chapter one new land

Dustin jolted forward as his boat hit the shore of the new land, he jumped of and pulled out his constructio rifle, he looked around, the coast was clear. Dustin gave the signal, a ramp came down from the ship.The crew and a horse drawn wagon came down from it, when everything was down they moved through the bush ( most of the sailors were armed with two constructio bombs and a turbo shot gun they also had a small axe so they could cut through the bush).Dustin normally wears black and he always wears a mask in the shape of a skull, one of the eye holes has ex ray vision and the other has metal bars over it.

As they moved Dustin and the crew couldn't help noticing a howl that was dangerously close. Then out of the mist came a massive white wolf with paws as big as a human head. Then somehow it said what do you seek on our island? In a growly voice the crew were too stunned to talk but they didn't notice what Dustin noticed they were surrounded by the wolves. Then it said what do you seek? Does nobody understand me? then finally Dustin said yes

The all of a sudden it pounced onto Dustin and pinned him down the said said then answer me! we have come make a colony on this new land answered Dustin. Okay then you are so dead it said, how Dustin said back Dragons.

This story was once told that far away in a village called Rams vill there was a boy his name was jack.He was the new kid to the school so let's get to the main bet.Jack went in his new class and the lunch bell rang everyone went off he asked the teacher were to eat she said I will tack u to the cafeteria  so she did.She put him next to a boy called Billy”hi Jack said” and Billy replied” hi are u the new kid”he said “yes Billy “said ok .Jack said “can I be ur friend” Billy agreed and just then freed the school bully came past . Hay u yeah new kid come over here good luck Billy said in fear so jack went jack gasp to Billy is it safe just go Billy replied ok said jack feeling fritened as he tock his first step he shivered and he said yes freed said wate ur that guy that I . Just then I walk in freed I yelled don't be mean to the new kid freed said shore so I went up to the new boy hay are u all right  Jack ask Billy who is she he said wall people know her as the nicest girl at school so Jack said yes so I walk off as all the boys sterd! I went and sate at a an empty table all the boys keeped steering so I left the room and sate with the staff Billy and Jack went to look throw the window as the covasashon went on with the staff I said we have company Jack and Billy were scared as I ask them to join the staff so they went to join me  Jack ask why does Fred leason to you all the boys leason to me I said Billy asked why I said I don't no so I went out with Jack and Billy and I asked Fred to come he said ok I toke him outside I said Fred can u do me a faver anything he replied ok I said can u be the one to do the radish I was talk to cafeteria ladies and they need someone to tack there rabid he starting today so I will tall them todells so he went to the cafeteria and he had to were a rabish outfit .
